He's funny, but he's not particularly amusing. He's like that relative who tells dirty jokes at family reunions. his feud with David Cross is hilarious since I don't really care for either of them.

Quick funny music story that I thought I’d share:

When a friend and I were at Amoeba Records in LA a month or so back, the band having a signing that day happened to be Of Mice & Men for their new album, of all fucking bands... So anyway, we’re shopping when they announce over the intercom to the main part of the store: “Everyone please welcome our special guests... OF MICE AND MEN!!”

I swear to you, I heard ONE GUY applaud and let out a “Yeah!”... and the entire rest of the store was completely silent and made no acknowledgement whatsoever. It was priceless. If there’s ever visual proof of how far a band has fallen off... that was it.

 

Nobody needs to die on any hills. Geez.

I'd rather see Larry the Cable Guy than Of Mice and Men

 

the fray have a good song on Scrubs. instantly makes them better than larry the unfunny guy.

I saw them on tour several years back and I’m pretty sure you would’ve enjoyed the show (or at least the bands before them haha). It was with OK Go and Mae

 

With that post, I didn't want to talk about Larry the Cable Guy or The Fray. I wanted to talk about that movie Cable Guy. Brilliant and underrated.

 

Ok Go have a fun live show. Saw them open for Finch back in the day. Other opener was SR-71. Odd lineup

 

You’re right, I’ll stop disrespecting the Official Larry the Cable Guy Cinematic Universe Thread. My apologies.

 

Gonna play that one tomorrow.

Btw @KidLightning I rated that Mt. Joy record 3/5 not bad but not really something i'm going to revisit too much.
