They should stop featuring abusers in their magazine then

 

Or like... at the very least give a portion of the proceeds to an organization making strides to make a safer scene... which they aren't

 

I’m not going to give them clicks but have they really made that without any proceeds going to any causes/organisations? God I hate AP, glad I stopped paying attention to them after how they handled all the FPS stuff the other year.

yeah like, WHAT? I haven't read them in years but it's obvious they give cover space to shady af people in the scene and I have never heard of them having actual good articles about the abuse and "unsafeness" in the scene. They want to keep the scene safe how? Like its been said, no proceeds to any charities. No collaborations with nonprofit orgs. No informative articles that could genuinely help young fans recognize abusive situations etc.
Cmon guys. there's so much you can do. Please do it.
and like I said I haven't read one in a while so if I'm wrong and they've done some of these things then my apologies and good for them. but I feel like I would have hard about it?

several of my favorite bands are on the final warped tour and it's the epitome of "disappointed but not surprised"

 

Don Bronco is also on the lineup. The representation of women is pretty abysmal as well but hardly shocking.

 

Not long ago warped was going on Twitter about how bands with women have turned down the tour, which okay sure that could be why representation is poor, but why do you think they're turning down your tour? Because they don't feel safe doing it

So Tekashi 69 got booked for a show at The Pageant here in STL but after a quick backlash, they cancelled the show and apologized for making the mistake of not looking into him before booking. Good, fuck that guy.
