Has TBS hinted about doing Riot Fest again?

 

Is the VIP ticket worth it in Douglas Park?

 

Only ten more hours!

 

I have been very happy with it the last three years, but it definitely depends on your priorities. The actual "value" has absolutely gone down if you are a big drinker, but 7 tickets still isn't bad at those prices. It used to be that the drink tickets evened out the price difference between that and GA just on their own. I still thought it was great to have last year because I only waited in line maybe 5 minutes at most getting in every day, there were shaded and DRY tents just for VIP that had comfortable couches and were the perfect spot to recharge between sets, and there were definitely routes through VIP that saved time between some stages. If you don't drink and plan on camping at barricades the whole day it might not be worth it, but otherwise I feel like it still makes the experience a lot better. I do miss the actual viewing areas though. As poorly as they were laid out it was a great perk in Humboldt.

 

The "private" entry way, places to sit, ways to jump between stages easier, and lesser bathroom lines are well worth it. It's shit for an actual stage view... But everything else about it made it worth it for me.

Plus: It was really fun last year when they accidentally let a handful of VIP people in early and I got to wander around the grounds while they were still setting shit up.

 

Here is to hoping that the Descendents are playing again and post it early again!

Aaaaaaahh!! Amazing again!! I got the RS page to load for just a second before it went dead. Didn't get the full lineup there, but it's definitely real based on what loaded. So many amazing things. Can't wait to see the full poster.

 

If Chicago actually doesn't also have Lagwagon I'm going to be slightly annoyed.

Is anyone else surprised how high Brand New is billed?

 

This is awesome. I'm kind of surprised to not see Piebald on there (hoping they hit Chicago at some point during their reunion), and I'm sad that Converge is only playing Denver, but those are my only tiny complaints (until the schedule is released and I find out that Brand New, Jimmy Eat World, and Thursday are all playing at the same time or something like that).
