Yeah I've been putting it off for months. I just can't really put it off anymore because the ends of my hair are awful at this point. This is so much more stressful than it should be!

 

All you can really do is take a gamble unless you know someone who can recommend someone! :(

 

I've definitely been asking around. It'll be fine, it's just a little annoying to deal with right now.

 

I haven't cut my hair in nearly a year. idk who to go to either tho. I usually go to whoever my sis with nice hair goes to but she moved away. I've never seen anyone I love. I have very thick hair and there's this weird phenomenon where ppl seem to envy the thickness and length and won't do what I want to it. Like naw I'm paying you, just take my money and chop it off!

 

Didn't know any of this. I just saw his makeup on Instgram. Everyone is a piece of shit nowadays I guess. Is there any makeup I can like that isn't attached to a piece of garbage? I liked Kat Von D but she's said some racist shit too. Ick.

 

I got a trim in February and probably need to get one again soon. Sucks that it costs the same as a full haircut though.

I think I'm going to keep growing it out though, I've mostly gotten past the anxiety it have me a few months ago and usually looks ok

 

I get my hair cut once a month can't imagine how messy it would be after a year

 

Pretty much most makeup is made by questionable ppl. A lot of brands are owned by the same company and a lot of brands are sketch. I know i haven't bought Revlon in a while cause the ceo made some racist comments back in january. Given how focused on white western standards beauty is, I guess I shouldn't be surprised with all the racism involved in that world.

 

Got this last week and I lovveeeeee it.

 

I picked this up and do not recommend. It got EVERYWHERE and stained everything but my lips. The color wasn't what I expected either. I'll give it another go but it was annoying to deal with making sure it hadn't smeared.

 

I have that same one and love it. It doesn't budge off my lips and stays on through like an apocalypse lol. Def didn't have a problem with messiness. I love all the soft matte lip creams I've tried, altho the one I have in Copenhagen is a tad patchy

 

I guess it could be that I had just put Chapstick on or something? I'm trying to get the stains out of a shirt that it ended up on.

 

Ew that sucks! Mine usually dries on my lips pretty good. I'd actually say of all the lipsticks and stuff I own i probably have the least transfer issues with those. I do remember for whatever reason the first time I used it it was like getting on my teeth and was hard to get a straight line lol, but it's not an issue now.

 

I'll just have to practice! Lol I'll get a handle on it I'm sure.

 

It's totally possible to get a bad batch too. I love UD 24/7 liquid liner and I've bought many of them, but this one I recently bought got all goopy and went EVERYWHERE like on my hands and the floor and just everywhere lol and it's never done that before. Sometimes you just get a dud, or something just plain doesn't work for you. Hope you can make it work tho since you already bought it!

have you tried to use oxyclean? that works pretty well to get stains out of everything, if you don't wait too long

 

I had no way to wash it right then so I used dish soap and scrubbed it. I used oxyclean and the stain faded a lot to where it's still wearable, imo.

 

I was planning on buying one of his lipsticks, but I'm glad he decided to show his ass again. I had hoped that he had changed in the last 10 years, and I've heard good stories from friends who have worked with him since, but since he got clockedt being a transphobe/racist, RIP. Beauty Bakerie it is.

 

Is there a hair school near you? I usually go to a beauty school like Toni & Guy or Paul Mitchell to get my hair done. And they're under close supervision by pros.

I just went to my first beauty sample sale yesterday and wow !! The sale was Stila, ghd and Tocca and I ended up getting a ghd straightener for $69 and a Stila eyeshadow + brush for $10

 

Any of you guys use/tried Glossier's Boy Brow? I'm seeing it everywhere lately.

 

I have really thick eyebrows so I don't use it but my sister loves it.
