On episode 6 of Everything Sucks and it's great so far.

 

binged the whole thing (everything sucks) in one viewing.

It's... it's good. Like, it's a show that has its issues (outside of Kate and Luke, i thought most of the minor characters were over the top caricatures of previous sidekicks we've seen many times before) and I felt the ending was a little to 7th Heaven to me.. but there are just enough good moments in the show to make it a solid "watch it" grade.

Some of the 90s references were a little eye rolling and a bit too in your face too. In reality too, this show doesn't really have a purpose of being in the 90s yet. The Tori Amos moment, the best moment of the show, is the one true time the time comes into real play here.

Kate is great though...and Lukes transition from happy go lucky freshman to angst is sad/neat all at once. The Principal was a very root-able character too.

I haaaaaaaaaaaaated Luke's friends though for the first like 9 episodes. I didn't care for the drama kids either really

Grade; B. I noticed the show found some solid footing halfway through the season and i'm hoping that same 'umpf' continues in season 2. Iron out those kinks and be the great show it has the potential to be. AND you dont need to yell "dunkaroos" in every episode too.

Everything Sucks was pretty good. Kate managing to drive better than I can and I've been doing it for 10 years irks me. Does no one keep car keys safe!?

Anybody in here watch Imposters? My girlfriend threw it on on a whim last night and we wound up binging the season, really sucked us both in. Not a Netflix original but S1 is on there and S2 airs on Bravo in a couple of months.

I watched two episodes of Everything Sucks and I really enjoy it. The setting/atmosphere is great.

Watching Everything Sucks now. The name was a huge turn off for me, but I had a friend recommend it, and glad I watched it. 90s themes are great

Finally returned to Altered Carbon this weekend. Through ep 4 now. Really enjoying it a lot, even the stuff they've added or changed from the book especially the ep4 torture bit. The book version is not so nice....

 

2 episodes in The End of the Fucking World. It's pretty good.
