The Lovesong Writer-These are some haunting lyrics...and they are very real feeling. This song has such a somber tone to it and then it just explodes in certain places. And that outro is just rad

 

So an album that you complained of alot was a 6 and one that you really liked throughout was a 7.5.?your scales broken.

 

the one I liked will grow with more listens, which I plan to give. The other one won’t and I don’t plan to go back to it. These are first impressions

 

Into The Blinding Light- as @skurt would say; so good.

 

The matches is a grower.

I used to a lot. Not so much anymore now that someone got me hooked on Apple Music and I can do full albums with ease

 

Autumn Leaves Revisited- This is a damn good song. It opens so slow an somber and keeps this beautiful momentum going. The acoustic in the verses is nice and the lyrics are dark and personal. One of my favorites on here. The tone of the song is haunting and there are these wild parts musically. Beautiful song.

 

Yeah I'm an album listener for sure. Just saying to check those songs out again.

 

At least the ones that you liked alot

 

Even The Sand Is Made Of Seashells- love that piano intro. Niiice. This is how you do a closing track. It’s lyrics are powerful, the imagery painted by them is great and the music matches it perfectly. This is a superb song. I bet this one sounds amazing live.

 

End result: damnit @bachna84 was right. 9/10. I liked War a lot, but this album blows it out of the water. I must own this album

 

the best is when Geoff does the little speech thing going into At This Velocity

 

Im pretty sure that one is a bonus track not on the album officially. Great song thought

Now I promised someone I’d listen to the new Reggie and TFE album tonight so it’s time to do that.

 

It's my favorite thursday album. I remember seeing them live in March 2006 in dallas and might be one of my favorite shows ever and thwy played new songs and it was amazing.

 

Friendly reminder Telegraph Avenue kiss is a perfect song
