Giannis is so fun to watch

 

Part of me thinks that when Isaiah Thomas is in, he should just stay on the offensive end of the court the entire time and have his 4 teammates play zone defense. It can’t be WORSE than him trying to play defense, right?

 

Fair, but why ascribe malevolence when incompetence explains it? To my knowledge, there doesn’t seem to be bad blood between the Clippers/Wolves like there was between the Clippers/Warriors a few years ago.

Hmmm. Lou had a really strong quarter though, right? I’d still probably err on the side of incompetence, but maybe he has a point there.

I mean Hayward got hurt after playing like two minutes. This is the kind of thing where its easy to make a connection without any proof of correlation, and just hit Thibs with the minutes narrative. Injuries suck and that's my only takeaway.

 

He ran the bulls into the ground. He's seemingly stuck his head in the sand in regards to the data out there about player injuries as their minutes increase.

 

What data says that?

Meniscus injury for butler, unfortunate but at least it isn’t a torn ACL. I was refreshing Twitter all afternoon

Yeah a torn meniscus, he’s gonna have surgery but timeline is 4 to 6 weeks supposedly.
