There's a great EP in there on New Again. I love Swing, Lonely Lonely, Summer Man, Carpathia, and Everything Must Go. Unfortunately it's a full length

New Again, Sink Into Me, and Jenny murder it as an album for me. I actually like some of the other songs a fair bit going back to it now but those would all be in my 5 least favorite TBS songs lol. I know some people love New Again and Sink but respectively I absolutely despise the verses and the chorus.

 

i've always been a big fan of Sink Into Me as a stand alone single. miss that song.

 

I've always enjoyed cut me up Jenny. It's not my favorite but I like it a lot. Also always thought the hate that album got was really overblown

 

It’s the closest they ever got to actually pushing themselves in new territories on a technical level imo. A couple songs have interesting time signatures and structures, really thoughtful instrumentation, and imo mostly great vocal melodies. The three-part harmony in Carpathia is maybe my favorite thing they’ve ever put on a song.

New Again is one of their most consistent albums. Every song is solid

Tidal Wave is probably their best post-reunion, but S/T has like 4 of their best songs so it's still one of my favorites

 

I’ll never get the love for New Again. Can’t even listen to but one track.

 

I liked it at release but probably just because i was desperate for new TBS. Sink into me is them trying to make another radio hit after makedamnsure but for all the wrong reasons.

Laughing out loud because a friend of mine and I consistently say "ladies and gentleman" at the beginning of every sentence in a mocking tone whenever TBS is discussed because the last time we saw them he fucking said it in between every. single. song. It was great/hilarious at the same time.
