Yes I'm fully aware that I just answered my own question.

 

Every time I see SF it still makes me think of Science Fiction Still a very good record just saying

 

I did once, and I remember liking it. I’ve gotta go back to it, I think I just got distracted with others. I didn’t care for the tiny moving parts one as much I expected to though. That one seemed pretty universally praised around here too.

Ok Grip Shoes totally sounds like a Saosin s/t era tune especially the pre-chorus harmonies.

I recommend both of their records btw good band that no one really know about.

 

I mean Cove replaced Anthony so I'd say either one is a good comparison

I just find their sound reminds me more of Saosin than Circa I guess is what I'm getting at. Either way it's a great record.

Yes and I'm talking about their sound collectively as a band. That's what I was getting at Lord Larry.

 

New Ratboys EP is excellent as well (and as expected):

 

Saosin has one good song on the TTN EP and then about half of their most recent album. The rest of their discography, including the entirety of the 2 non-AG albums, I could do without.

 

New Can't Swim song is excellent as well (as expected). Short and sweet.
