I finally listened to the new Underoath song. Never was a huge fan of these guys but really dig the new song.

 

I'm so excited! I just got tickets for tonight's Amerks Game(Sabres AHL team)

I remember liking it a lot more before it came back.

What I miss is Vault though.

To be honest, I have a soda problem and should probably stop lol.

When I was like 7, I remember getting a free can of Surge right around the time they were coming out after a minor league hockey game as my dad and I were leaving at 10 PM. Dad thought it would be a good idea to let me drink it on the car ride home. Needless to say, I was waking my parents up at 2 AM when I couldn't sleep...

 

Turnstile!

I just listened to the Our Lady Peace album. I enjoyed it! 4 of the 9 tracks were released last year and 1 of the other ones (Ballad of a Poet) I got to see them play when I saw them last year, but always great to hear some new OLP!

 

Yeah, I was a little bummed when I found out that all 4 of the songs from the EP were on the record. Usually if bands do that, I'll just wait for the record release. That's why I'm glad @teebs41 is giving us all new songs and not recycling Out Of Service songs!

 

Yeah...I had read last year that they were going to release Somethingness as two separate EPs, so I didn't mind listening the those 4 songs that came out last year a lot. I was expecting the remaining songs today and was kind of surprised the 2017 songs are on there (and that the track order was switched up). Still a solid album though!

The new Household album is out too. I know there's been a little discussion on that in the past day or so here. I'm not familiar with their stuff, but I've heard good things. For what it's worth, I know they're the first band on the bill for the upcoming Senses Fail tour.

 

Nice! Who are they playing?

I'm going to the Sens game tomorrow afternoon and they are playing @teebs41 team the Flyers.

 

Damn straight I am

 

They're playing the Toronto Marlies, so we're probably going to get SMOKED!

 

On a side note, I'm kind of surprised that Touche Amore is opening for Turnstile on this upcoming tour. I thought TA was quite a bit bigger. I guess with Turnstile releasing a new album today they have some more momentum or maybe I'm just out of touch with things (or both)

 

Yeah the Household record is pretty solid I've played it a couple of times already. Enjoyable release.

I'm currently listening to the new Young Statues EP. It's their first new release since 2014 i've heard all their other stuff so i had to check it out. Vance Joy's new album is also out today. So I'm gonna get around to that one eventually.
