hold the ps button, go to sound and devices and you can choose what sound comes through the controller. chat is automatically routed through the controller.

Rocket League on XBone is getting cross-platform play.

    Also:

    Cross-Network Play
First, in addition to natively supporting cross-platform play between Xbox One and Windows 10 games that use Xbox Live, we’re enabling developers to support cross-network play as well. This means players on Xbox One and Windows 10 using Xbox Live will be able to play with players on different online multiplayer networks – including other console and PC networks.

Of course, it’s up to game developers to support this feature, and Xbox Live players will always have the option of choosing to play only with other Xbox Live players. We’re thrilled to confirm that Psyonix’s Rocket League will be one of the first games to take advantage of this new capability by enabling cross-network play between Xbox One and PC players, with an open invitation for other networks to participate as well.

    They make things so convoluted.

Yep, but this is pretty cool though. It'd be nice for shooters like the upcoming Titanfall 2 and Battlefield if there is one shared pool of users. Would be easier for EA and a larger playerbase is always nice.

Sick, so if I get it on Xbox One may actually be able to play with people on here and get my achievements. NICE

maybe, as far as I know it's impossible to party up between PS4/PC as it stands, I don't see that happening between XB1/Steam either unless Psyonix build a full friend system into their game.

of course we need to wait and see how it's implemented first

Probably not. Rocket League has no way to invite people of other consoles to their game session. Currently at least. There have been PC players that I wanted to continue playing with, but as there was no way to invite them, I couldn't. :verysad::verysad:

Yeah, I mean...it's up in the air now, but would hope Sony/Steam would get on board with it? Seems like developer is up for it. We'll see. Still don't have time for the game haha

Sony are definitely up for it. It's just up to the developer as you said and it's also up to the developer to come up with an invite system lol. To invite people from other consoles/PC, they would probably have to have an in-game friends list (UPlay/Origin/WBplay/Square Enix Account/etc) where you have the option to join their server.

There's no way SONY/MS/VALVE will create a friends list that includes people of other systems. Thats just too much haha.

oh you'll definitely be able to play people on PS4/PC in the coming months, just whether you'll be able to party up with people on different networks might not happen.

Yeah, guess I'm too hopefully...oh well, Axiom Verge coming to XBOX is great news.

Sigh, guess I'll just still plan on PS4 version until they get this sorted.

I'm thinking we'll get Battlefield / Titanfall 2 info this week. I'm highly interested in a WW1 Battlefield and the real "Infinity Wards" next shooter.

Yes, it's very good. Except when you get disconnected from their server. It will kick you out of your game if that happens.

I would say you should play it offline, but to unlock stuff and complete challenges, you have to be online. It also is a pain in the ass since offline progress and online progress are seen as 2 different things. So lets say you do a lot of stuff whilst online and you lose internet and want to play offline, all your stuff that you did in online won't be available to you in offline. Also, if you start an offline save and then want to go online, that doesn't transfer over either.
