Thanks for the info. I think I'll just get myself a PS4 or X-Box because I've actually got a 65 inch TV. I'm thinking the Target version may be the way I go with it.

I feel like it was inevitable even before Black Panther's success, but the internet is buzzing about Ryan Coogler getting a Star Wars movie.

Maybe he can take one in Rian Johnson's trilogy and we just have the "Ri/yan" trilogy.

yeah I was expecting a Rey and Chewie on the Falcon scene. Probably when she gets back from the Supremecy. Seemed weird we didnt see her from the saber splitting in half until she saves Rose on Crait.

Also I hope in one of these we get a wide shot of Canto Bight. I was kind of upset considering how incredible it looked in the behind the scenes featurette.

Edit: I wonder which one is BB8 vs. BB9e. Im going to guess the Mega Destroyer incursion?

 

Also for all my fresh prince fans the "luke has a moment" made me picture Luke saying it like this.

 

There was an extended Fathier chase?! That's the one scene that already felt too long.

 

Just to jump in and clarify, PS4 Pro does not have a UHD Blu-ray player.

The Xbox One S and X do.

Yea the sauna and I think I remember hearing something like they jump on roofs and stuff.

Without a doubt I’m most excited for the third lesson. The lesson that power invites power and deciding whether to get involved or let nature take its course and let the force balance itself out is very deep stuff and very important to the understanding of the Force, why he removed himself from the action, and also relates to the Jedi during the Clone War era

This is the main reason I bought an Xbox one S, this will probably be the first 4K movie I buy

 

Upgrading my S to an X tomorrow, but I only upgraded my launch Xbox One to the S for the UHD Blu-ray playback about a year ago.

 

I hope the extended Falthier chase has them jump into podracers and crash around the city and then back onto the Falthiers into the regular scene

 

This event looks great and by the way, and the documentary is listed to be over 2 hours long. Awesome.

Also, looks like there is a Walmart exclusive blu-ray that might be popping up, but the only thing different about it is it comes with interchangeable covers of all the red character posters.

 

I’m kicking myself for only seeing this once in the theater, and that was on opening night. I really want to give it another shot.

 

Yeah I definitely think just considering it’s Star Wars and also how much stuff is going on (for better for worse) it requires a second viewing. I found weird new levels of enjoyment each time I’ve seen it. After so many times my ego and opinions kind of went away. Almost like I felt like I was watching as my kid self where I’m not overanalyzing every damn thing.

Unfortunately it finally left the last theater near me. I wanted to hit viewing 8 for episode 8 lol. Ah well. Only 2 weeks till it’s out and next week book is out!!!

As for that unspoken “third lesson”…?

Johnson acknowledges it’s not directly addressed, but says there are things about the movie that fans can choose to interpret as his final instruction to Rey. But he hesitates to say more because this may (or may not) be something explored further in 2019’s Episode IX.

In other words, this may be J.J. Abrams’ problem now.

“Not problem, but possibility,” Johnson clarifies. “There are no problems, there’s only potential.”

I keep thinking about everything on Crait. The design of Crait is incredible with the contrast of the red and white.
