Love AGPOL and am extremely optimistic that they'll make good on their Twitter posts and release an album this year

He was on that tour, at least the UT show in Philly I was at. There’s no way I could forget it, I had a similar experience at what others described here.

It was memorable for me bc I was super excited for TWIABP and IIOI and ended up believing AGBPOL blew them both completely away. I hadn’t listened to them really before but instantly became a fan of that band right then and there.

I listened to this 3 times in a row yesterday and started working out how to play a couple of these songs. I don't want to jump the gun, but I think this is better than Keep You.

    --TWIABP--
I didn't see them live when the toured with the spoken word guy, but I enjoyed the ep itself. I also really enjoy spoken word over almost any kind of instrumentation. Plus, $100 Tip is Very good.

Also, the band was really good(and only 6 people) when I saw them in November. I'm always amazed at how divisive this band is.

I’m very curious about the meaning behind the lyrics of Fake Lightening.

"Love comes in and out of our lives and we have very little control over it. It takes advantage of you, and you take advantage of it. It’s breathing and living . . . It’s sitting alone in St Louis as the neon fake lighting outlines the mirror behind the bar, the brass taps are dripping wet and the lacquer looks back at you as if to say, “you’re not the only one in here with a sad story.” It’s drinking rum in the old utility room. It’s the Makers moving you in Stockholm. It’s water in a beer can at the end of the night. It’s talking and regretting and talking some more . . ."

I’m so happy with this record. The Use of space, the drum tones/performance, the dynamics, the guitar tones, the bass tone, the feel, the consistent sound/lyrics. Really speaks to me and to where my musical taste is right now. Also love how developed the arrangements feel, feels like a lot of thought went into writing the album.

    Got a light?

That setlist is not even close to what they played

    Got a light?

The one posted a few pages back was much closer, they did play April and love on repeat, didn’t play forever sound or bay dreams which made me quite sad
