i'm relistening to collection to get ready for tonight and wow did she take a huge songwriting step forward for these new ones. i know those were bedroom pop songs but there's so so many more interesting things going on now

 

Yeah. The best songs on Collection are the opener and closer, imo. Everything else is good but the new songs seems to expand, and improve, on those kinds of ideas

 

waiting for cars is def one of her best songs. absolutely heart wrenching.

 

New tour dates added. So hyped for the Toronto show.

 

Side note: Madeline Kenney is fucking great. It's like Phoebe or something, but with the music of Animal Collective or Gang Gang Dance.

Excited to listen! Great NPR lineup today between this, Camp Cope, and Haley Heyndericks.

Band was ehhh last night at the Phoebe Bridgers show. Just didn't seem that into the crowd.

 

weird, that was philly, right? would have thought that crowd would be into this. DC was hyped, room was full when she went on

 

I mean the crowd was full and into it when they came out. They just didn't seem that excited to be there or stoned or something, and it kind of devolved from there.

 

Adding to the queue to listen to later today...way too much music to listen to that's come out over the past few days. Ugh.
