Giving teachers guns is one kf the most insane ideas I've ever heard.

We already don't value them as a society

Pay them barely anything, expect them to work after hours, buy their own supplies, worry about losing funding due to poor standardized testing
And know they have to get a carry license and worry about having this responsibility constantly living in fear of having that responsibility.

 

here's the deal, i don't think they ever wanted to really do it with Aaron. they wrote amazing stuff but the band wasnt underoath without him. he left bc of mental health... he was really depressed and needed help. he got help, and was ready to come back with a clear head. No one knew if he ever would be able to come back again, so thats why they broke up when they did but once he was ready it was a no brainer to reunite.

 

I'm in for this cause! That last Barcelona album had some pretty good stuff on it as well despite the change in sound

 

yea i just want my school to pay for sheet music, jesus effing christ haha

 

Currently listening to this. Is this a non album single?

I think its time for me to properly check out this band. I will finally.

This makes sense. It was just weird to have the movie come out. Which was really heavy and emotional. Then suddenly they were back. But that does totally make sense. And I’m glad Aaron is in a good place now.

 

yea I can't believe you don't love them. amazing drums, great vocals, suppperrr heavy. great guitar riffs. as long as you can get into the screaming but Spencer is the best screamer out there soo

 

This is one of my all time favorite songs, not just Underoath songs, but favorite songs ever.

 

I'm liking what i'm hearing. Excited to do a deep dive on them.

 

the bad christian podcasts explain stuff well but you really gotta dig to find the episodes.

I saw them on that tour.. soo good. then I saw them at amnesia rockfest and it was one of the best sets i've ever seen from any band

One thing that does bug me, and I alluded to this in the underoath thread, but there are so many conflicting details about the breakup and reunification, idk what to believe, or rather, what was a bigger factor than what

i didnt know you were so into Underoath. do they have any records with less clean vocal and screaming call backs? like anything leaning on scream heavy?

 

i think it was more than one thing. like they were taking the band sooo seriously so much creative tension... but thats why these records are so good.
