Rumor is the album is called Erase Me and comes out April 6. New song is No frame and comes out Thursday.

 

Curious to see the direction they go in since Aaron is back. Disambiguation was definitely their best album, so I hope they continue with that sound

I totally agree. One of the few bands that I think kept improving across their original run, and if I were to rank their discography it’d basically be in reverse chronological order.

It’s a tall order after so much time to expect the new album to continue that trend, so I’m just gonna hope for a solid comeback and be pleasantly surprised if it’s more than that.

 

I didn't think I was going to be this excited for a new UO album...but I sure am!

 

I can only assume that billboard will reflect the album art. Hard to make out exactly what it is though.

I don’t know if this is a popular opinion, but Sunburnt and Unsound are two of my favorite Underoath songs, and I wish we had gotten a full album in that vein. I’m hoping the new stuff has some elements of that, since those were the last two songs they released.

 

Man, remember the release of that 7"? Those two songs were greeted with minimal exposure and fanfare, the reception was so peculiar. Today, there are still casual UO listeners in my circle of friends that haven't gone out of their way to listen to it, but they can't give a reason as to why. Sunburnt and Unsound are in this weird discography ether that doesn't feel canon at times, haha. All that being said, you're right - both songs are wonderful and it's a shame they didn't at least try and push the envelope to an EP.
