You know I thought about this a bit more...obviously the production quality is going to make the vocals sound very crisp but Mark, since as far back as Buddah, has been a very flat vocalist. His best in the studio and live is when he "throws" his voice, yells, or forces himself to be sharp. It's easier for him to sound good when the songs are in a higher register but sounds like BTD, he'll likely sound worse since it's more mid-range/low-range for him. I'm not going to knock feldmann's production or the gap in years...Mark just was kinda never that good as a vocalist lol.

 

I'm sorry for bringing up this dead horse, I just wanted to make sure I responded to you. I obviously want everyone to be understanding of everyone. When we discussed the issue here, I think everyone was understanding of one another but not necessarily accepting of one another, does that make sense? Like, it would feel weird to me if no one said anything about problematic lyrics like the ones in Brohemian. I'm glad people spoke up and I'm glad others defended it. That's our right.

i'm so over music videos. i feel like they're pretty pointless these days. lyric videos are kind of the new thing, and they already released one of those.

 

Unless you're Taylor Swift or Katy Perry..then your videos get a billion views

 

I still love music videos. A good music video always increases my enjoyment for a song, even if I felt it was a great song to begin with.

 

Sure there will be a music video. They do have a new member, he should get some official face time I would think? Figure they release at least two more full songs before the album comes out. I'm guessing that ballad and Rabbit Hole.

 

My money's on the ballad.

 

I think they will release the new songs they are playing on the tour, i also wouldnt be surprised if they dont release anything until the album.

How much before Neighborhoods did they release Up All Night? Between that and the album release didnt they just release a stream of Hearts All Gone?
