Banquet records have said on twitter that they're getting it in, the price of the vinyl will probably be a bit more but the shipping will only be £2 or so.

 

yeah he has talked in the past year or so about being a curmudgeon and how his wife balances that out.

 

Wish I'd gone about it this way but I'm impatient and the second I saw this I bought it despite the ridiculous shipping. That's not to say I'm not annoyed, but I adore this band and just. I dunno, whatever, have my money.

 

I've only been able to listen through once. I enjoyed it, but want to know the lyrics. Not a fan of the "g-damn" (if that's what it is) as I've always enjoyed their albums, except for YFW, being "clean" as far as lyrics are concerned.

Need to let it sink in a bit more.

 

Extremely underwhelmed... Hoping it'll grow on me but I definitely didn't take to it as instantaneously as the last two songs.

 

I stand by this, but I'll also buy all the things with "I wanna throw up snakes" on them.

Haha, yeah, I agree with all of this.

Also, digging this track after one listen. Still dying for LP5.

 

They are people with real lives and real families. I don't think they're doing anything purposely to fuck with us. They're living their lives, if that means taking 10 years to release an album it is what it is. I'll still love the band and be extremely stoked whenever they tour or release new music, but by no means do I feel entitled to anything from them.

 

Yeah it was great. I rushed to get tickets then ended up seeing them at Alexandra Palace too haha.

Gig was so good. Shame about the 6ft 5 dickhead down front causing fights that I had to stop.

I'm a super fan, have seen them live when I could, and if anything, love them more now than I have before. I'm definitely more excited for this new record with each passing year. As Jaime said, this isn't malicious mistreatment of a fan base, this is four people with actual lives who are also in an awesome band.
