Love On Repeat has grown on me more than any other. Didn't stand out to me initially, but that chorus soars like nothing else.

Sputnik is weird. There are about 3-4 reviewers who are amazing, but you have to wade through A LOT to find it. The main reason I go there is for updated info on metal releases.

 

Pianos are playing some shows in the UK in August with Foxing. Too bad I live in the US

 

hope that foxing and pianos tour becomes a reality stateside. after foxing finish their run with circa they're gonna have to do a headliner to promote their new album right? would be so sick if it was a tour with pianos

 

i really only see pianos doing one big tour between the spring and summer for this. probably a decent support slot

 

I know Foxing is doing a few dates in May cuz I’m seeing them in Indy on the 25th

 

those are just dates to bled fest from the end of the circa tour

I can see people connecting to keep you more than this but I actually think the song writing and especially the arranging is a lot more complex on this record. Doesn’t mean it’s better but I could imagine it being very hard to write a record that uses space as well as this one does.

 

To me, this one is a bit more straightforward and has some more pop sensibilities , that's why I think it will have a wider reach.

 

so bay of dreams is the best post tlla song they've written.

 

Hiding is the best post TLLA song, also just the best song period.

 

I'd say "Makes you almost miss the smell of smoke in your clothes" is the best line they've written but Charisma is really getting to me lately.

 

God I remember submitting a user review for Reach for the Sun. I don't want to even think what that was like.

 

I think my favorite moment in any of their songs might be in April

I have this feeling where I'm still owed something,

The melody there is unreal.

Lyrically all of April, and Old Jaw are a high for me.

I really need to sit down with TLLA, the windshield metaphor someone used earlier works perfectly. I love Touché, I love La Dispute, but for some reason skramz PBTT never connected with me the way this one and Keep You have. I think that this is by far their best produced album.

 

I was gonna pluck a lyric from enamor me, the queen, or say nothing to say is my favorite but 13 favorites sounded excessive
