My work shift wasn’t canceled today so that’s nice. I got a free small popcorn seeing Black Panther last night and I’m kinda at the place in my health journey where I can’t eat that shit anymore and I basically woke up feeling like one of THOSE NIGHTS IN COLLEGE hangovers. But from popcorn. That or I suddenly have the flu. Time shall tell.

I go in for two weeks to receive my official estimate on my surgery, btw. Next week I get the estimate on potentially having to get braces again.

I'm okay. Excited that it's the weekend but annoyed because I'm sucking at my job right now. I didn't realize you might have to get braces! Is there a chance you won't need them? I wouldn't wish that on anyone!

Me, too. That would suck. It’s the weeklong version of the flu around here, too, right now. I feel alright otherwise. Just had a turkey bacon biscuit to see if it would calm the stomach.

Why sucking at your job? Sales quotas?

Yeah. When my permanent retainer snapped in November, the gap fixed from my braces aged 14-16 came back and the dentist a few weeks ago didn’t even try to fix it. Went to a second opinion dentist and she basically said “an orthodontist has to figure this out” so you know. $6,000 worth of orthodontics ruined by a tortilla chip. (The braces were more to fix my bite at the time than the gaps, to be fair.)

 

Oh, it’s gonna be one of the busiest days of the year? Yeah man, just get two hours of sleep, you’ll be totally fine.

God I fucking hate myself lol

Doing research on stocks as they move in real time and not finding the results I want for the significant leaders and laggards of the moment and having my coworkers say, "Find this, I can't." So I'm just struggling with some of that. And also trying to find some guidance on SEC regulations that no one can seem to find as well. We have an office luncheon today, so I can't complain too much haha.

I'm sorry! That really sucks. My permanent retainer started moving my teeth too much and I had it removed... my teeth haven't shifted since I had it removed, but it feels good to have nothing in my mouth. I hope you get to that point soon!
