Going by your hippy dippy post yesterday about how you feel on top of a mountain, I think you're higher in both ways

 

I listened to rented world today and it still did next to nothing for me. It’s fine as album but I cannot get into it. There are standout tracks, obviously but I’d much rather listen to OTIP/ATP/Chamberlain than rented world.

For sure. Honestly, I think a lot of my lack of being into RW is that when it came out I was so pumped for it and felt so much flatter and uninteresting than OTIP and I think that I cannot get that feeling out of my head when I put it on. Hopefully it clicks for me in the future. It's the Menzingers record i've listened to the least outside of their debut, so maybe one day it'll all click for me.

 

I feel the need to weigh in my opinions when I have them, but mostly things I feel positively about. I don't strongly dislike a lot of things, and I like to defend things I do like

They're the new band that it's cool to hate, I've realized

 

They're okay. I just don't especially dig them. Idk maybe I haven't heard the right songs by them.

I've heard one The 1975 song and it was because Laura put it on the playlist for our housewarming and it was a good song and I enjoyed it a lot

I feel like they'd be right up my alley

 

I have no feelings about them or most of the bands discussed here, I wished it clicked so my friends wouldn't be mad at me

 

I have overextended myself with work and bookings of events. I'm dreading the next two weeks now. But it's so hard to turn down an event when it's presented because it's such an easy way to impress my bosses/our distributor. I'm not one to normally get burnt out talking to people, but I'm ready to lock myself in my room and shut off my phone. I am running low on fake enthusiasm.
