Trying to pick a favorite of this is impossible for me right now. I've had the opener stuck in my head since I saw him play it at Rough Trade. I also really like Little Nightmares a lot though. I guess this is a good problem to have haha

I was able to do 5 off the top of my head, but I can't narrow it down to only 5 more, and I'm sure Sleepwalkers songs will make their way into the top tier Fallon songs, I just haven't had enough time with them to rank them against a lot of his other works

I know my local record store got the vinyl in, because they posted about it on Facebook. I was going to order on Amazon, but it said shipping in '1 to 3 weeks' so I was going to hit up my record store soon instead.

My favorite off Painkillers might actually be Steve McQueen.

 

Rosemary is my favourite on Painkillers and top 5 overall

 

I like Smoke, cause I like imagining the angry mob carrying ladders and rope Brian sings about.

 

Sleepwalkers will be my Album of the Year. So many right decisions made I making this album. I listened to 3 of the songs released in advance to the album, and was just hoping there would be more of that caliber. Come Wander With Me and Little Nightmares hooked me right away. I love that Proof Of Life slows the album down for a moment and creates a balance to See You On The Othr Side. I like the how the album doesn’t have a weak point. I like how the song Sleepwalkers uses horns to add something to the song and embrace New Orleans for a moment. It’s nice how the songs are “Sleepwalkers” era songs.

I hope Brian’s got another EP or some recorded covers still come from this recording session. Can’t get enough.

Speaking of people referencing "Little Nightmares", there's something about that guitar melody playing underneath the words "...but little nightmares..."/"...but I get this nightmare" that makes me so happy. It just works so well with his vocal melody.

The guitar bit I love on the album is that intro to Her Majesty's, that little acoustic riff is so good.
