Yea man, Candyman is definitely the better of the Barker adaptations. The first Hellraiser is the pinnacle imo, but its unfair to compare considering Barker wrote Hellbound Heart with the intention of filming it. But compared to Midnight Meat Train, Rawhead Rex, and all the others, it doesn’t even compare.

 

Nightbreed is great too

 

Yea, I loved Nightbreed. I don’t know why I always forget that one. I really need to read Cabal. I don’t think I’d put it above Hellraiser or Candyman.

 

Anyone who has SyFy should be watching Channel Zero: Butcher's Block. It's so weird, atmospheric, and creepy. I'm loving it. The first two seasons were great too.

 

A Robert Eggers movie with Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson, what's not to love? Although, I wonder if this means the Nosferatu movie is being delayed or set aside.

i remember reading the nosleep series as it unfolded, so wild that it's been brought to life - can't wait to see the climber

I just read that this is being filmed about an hour away from where I live. So pumped

 

I watched Happy Death Day yesterday. It was so dumb and fun.

 

I think the third act was good. I'm curious why you didn't enjoy it.

I was pretty on the fence about The Ritual. The ending didn't do a lot for me.

 

Holy shit Drag Me To Hell was great! How have I never seen it til last night!?

 

A favorite. Replay value is through the roof also.

 

It might be my most watched horror film. It never gets old.

 

It's one of the best PG-13 horror movies in recent history.

 

Man, WInchester had some potential but the over explain-y dialogue took it down so many notches. Horror writers have to get better at showing and not telling.
