overall I'd give it like a 6/10 maybe.

I liked about 6 songs
I think.

I'd probably add those 5 or 6 songs to a playlist and just listen to that instead of the whole album

california which is effectively the closer because brohemian rhapsody is dumb and super short, was not a very good choice for a closer. also would have rather not had it at all because it doesn't fit with the rest of the album.

I will listen to the deluxe tracks soon. probably tomorrow.

but if I'm honest and want to listen to blink I'm either going to put on

A case could certainly be made for that.

Did you listen to AiB like you promised?! I bought a vinyl of a surprise attack in black release today available for the time ever previously was only released on 50 cassettes so ive never heard it at all!

As far as I remember it's my first time. Their name is familiar but I can't really tell you anything about their songs/sound.

 

Dude you should pick it up too! Pretty excited about it! Last time i bought something from one of my favorite bands on vinyl that I have never heard yet was the record store day release of Sea Change by Thrice on gorgeous blue vinyl.

 

I recommend all of their lp's although i do agree with littlejohn self titled is their best one but the other two are also excellent. Great band.

This might be my #1 album definitely top 5 of all time.

I meant also that its the only way to hear it rn (on vinyl) like sea change was when it was first released. Eventually they put it up for streaming on digital platforms. Wonder if they will do the same for this attack in black release. I wish they would reunite and play some shows again!

 

@teebs41 you ever played anything by attack in black? What about Black Rebel Motorcycle Club? I know @Patterns in Traffic is wondering about that last one too.
