I'm okay if they go a softer/poppier route but really I will take any new music and welcome it with open arms. Just hope I can connect to the lyrics and the songwritting is strong

Gauging Brand New's popularity is hard and obscure. They can sell out tours instantaneously, they have the capability of selling out arenas, yet when I meet a stranger there's a slim chance they knew them.
Of course, the people in my extended circles know who they are, but outside of that it surprises me constantly.
this LEGITIMATELY happened. I got a Brand New tattoo and someone at my college asked what it was. I told her it was based on album cover by Brand New... she didn't know who they were so I struggled to explain them "they are like alternative/underground-ish rock...they have a pretty big fanbase but aren't very mainstream, I guess?" Her response? "Oh, like Set it Off?"

 

Guys. It's real. It's happening.

Reminds me though, I never got tickets in the mail or anything, is that normal?
