  1. People freaking out over this are crazy. Yes, he has been going through contract negotiations this season and there is a possibility of him being sold with how well Sanchez is playing. But him not being in the lineup for Juventus is because of his fitness. There’s no reason to risk a re-injury if his replacement his playing well enough for us to win.

You're talking in hypotheticals without providing a view of the incident. I mean what the fuck do you expect us to comment on if we haven't seen it? How do you expect Sam to make judgement call based on your obvious biases?

Smalling is always a liability, can't pass, dodgy in the air and makes some horrible decisions. There was a point late in the game where he was marking your forward and Atsu had the ball and was diving in from the left. If Smalling stepped up your forward would have been offside and he could have closed Atsu down, but he just let Atsu waltz into the box alone. Terrible player. He makes every one of our other defenders nervous.

    Yep, and yep.

I'd hope they'd use an apostrophe correctly in the title, as well as naming the sport properly. ;-)

Is the freak out not to do with the fact he has a really low release clause this summer if he doesn't sign a new contract?

Madrid need a new CB and forward this summer. I could see Toby and Harry both being chased hard for those slots.

  11. I mean, sorta? I think there are two separate things going on. What I’m talking about are the headlines “Alderwerield not in lineup, tension between player and coach. And then you click the article and it clearly is just based off them speculating or making stuff up.

Could he leave this summer? Maybe. But that’s not the reason he’s being held out this week.

  12. I could see Toby leaving but I think we’ll do everything we can to keep him. That one is 50/50. But as far as Harry is concerned I’d say it’s a 0% chance it happens this summer. It’d be moronic to sell him as we move into the new stadium. And he’s given no indication that he’s unhappy. Most of the players have come out and said they’re taking pride in bringing a strong team into the stadium, Harry being one of them.

Didn’t say he was leaving. Just that he’d be chased. Especially if PSG boat races them this week.

  14. Oh yeah I’m sure there will be some crazy numbers thrown out there.

The PSG-Madrid matchup should be fun. While I think Madrid could get stomped, this could also be the type of matchup that’s gets them motivated and back on track.

Sturridge off after 3 minutes. Why did West Brom sign him?

That's got to be so unbelievably hard to take. Hope he finds something meaningful to put his time into.

We’ve got Derby at home tonight. Big game as we’re in cup action at the week end. Can’t see how we’ll possibly get a result from tonight.

I legit don't know who'll win this tie between Tottenham and Juventus. Think Juventus' defense will be the deciding factor.

Related: I haven't watched nearly enough of Serie A in the last few seasons.

  22. Lamela starting today is awesome news. Love watching him.

  23. Lucas and Son bringing pace off the bench could be huge late in the game.

  24. I see it ending 1-1

Atlanta making a play for the Knoxville fans before Nashville enters the league with this kit, I see. (Houston has the right orange, though.)
