I can't get over Fake Lighting. I think I'm gonna buy this on vinyl, which is saying a lot since I'm trying to clear my collection of all records I don't absolutely love.

I don't think there's anything wrong with listening to a leak compared to a stream either. I downloaded this leak. I just think people who do should buy the album later, or buy a ticket to a show or buy a shirt online or something.

Man, the drums throughout this entire album are so crispy and great. I haven't been this drawn into the sound of drums since the self-titled Paramore album

Oh, that was probably misleading. I haven't had anything like that happen to me lately, but I understood more of what Kyle was going for, the irony in that being one his dad's saying while he feels his dad left too soon.

 

Ah, Blue. There's the devastating lyrics I'm used to.

 

I think I will be in the minority on this, but Blue doesn't do a ton for me. I dont think the lyrics fit the melody in the verses very well and it lessens the impact. Here's hoping that I come around to it.
