I get called "big guy" patronizingly all the time. It's frustrating. I was at a bar with a girl and they carded her at the door and when when I went to take my wallet out he was, loudly, like "You're all set, big guy. Don't bother."

I was not very happy.

 

Like it's very clearly belittling, don't see how someone could say it and then not think so.

 

People who say stuff like that are fucking pricks and are saying it to be an asshole. There's nothing endearing about the phrase.

 

Not trying to make light of your guys situation, but being short is also annoying when people comment on it.

 

and I'm not even THAT short. I'm 5 9 so for a male I'm considered on the short side.

 

I call my bff munchkin bc she's 4' 11 lol

 

After 29 years of being verbally abused, teased, patronized, etc., sometimes you get so desensitized that you forget that what they're doing isn't really okay. Not to be overly downer, but that's really how it ends up.

Haha, I'd kill to be as tall as you. Weird to think there are guys out there that would kill to be as tall as I am.

 

Every measurement I've taken has been somewhere between 5'11" and 6'1". I have yet to find out which was most accurate.

I think 5'11" cuz I'm probably shorter than AnxP

My dad is 5'4 and my mom was 4'11...it's actually kind of amazing that I'm 5'9

5'3" but my family is all tall so I'm the weirdo. Me and my gma are the only shorties. I've never dated a tall guy but I feel like I wouldn't because they'd make me feel like a tiny child. I guess I wouldn't rule it out but it's not like a turn on thing

 

My mom is 5'6 and dad is 6'0 so I thought I would have been like a good 5'8 at least.

 

I'm as close as you can get to 6' without actually being. Like 5'11" and 7/8ths or some shit.
