I thought they were just taking it slow for a bit. i see they play occasional shows, figure it's only a matter of time until they get active

also, if this does somehow come true, i don't have any insider info, just pulled that out of my ass. title fight's the only pop punk band from that 2010-2012 scene that twy hasn't toured with yet, better late then never?

 

i'd advise against getting a ticket

 

man now I'm on a The Audition binge again. Easily the best pop punk band to come out of the greater Chicago area in the mid-2000s

Just from stuff I've heard around

Title Fight is really not a band anymore. A few one offs here and there. Between side projects/managing bands/random side stuff they seem pretty busy (and content with not touring)

I'd bet a lotttt of money they play the final Balance & Composure show in the spring.

 

This is incredibly disappointing because I’ve still never seen them and they’ve been at the top of my list for years

 

I would pay stupid money to see Title Fight + Balance and Composure on a bill together

 

Fall of 2013, that happened. Cruel Hand and Slingshot Dakota were also on the bill.

 

Both bands were supporting their best albums at the time too. It was tight.

 

Light We Made came out in 2016 though

I could have sworn that Big D posted it on their Facebook page yesterday, but I don’t see it there anymore.

 

i mean ned is getting his degree so they could be back in a year or two

 

What's it meant by anniversary tour? Because Billy has been pretty against doing albums in full before. And they already did a Siamese Dream Plainsong tour a couple years back.

 

They posted a pic on Instagram along the lines of “the past is also the future and present”, with a shot of two grown up women in the Siamese Dream cover outfits

 

Anyone else think it would be cool if pianos become the teeth opened for the wonder years? They're dropping an album Friday and other than a few release shows they don't have anything else announced.

 

I saw them together years ago (fall of 2011) and it was great.

 

In March of 2009 I saw Title Fight, Balance And Composure, Man Overboard, and Tigers Jaw on the same bill. Those were the days.

 

They definitely did. I shared it before it was deleted.

Did you see it in Wilkes Barre by chance? I don't even remember if that lineup was a full tour or not. TF and TJ were mostly doing local shows still iirc.

Boy do I miss Cafe Metropolis.

 

Could've been, I believe I saw it in PA for sure. It was just so long ago, I was visiting a friend.

 

In 2010 I saw Tigers Jaw, The Sidekicks, Transit, Hostage Calm, Aficionado, Citizen, Light Years, Louder Than Bombs and Plum Paws in the basement of my future college’s student center and it was maybe my favorite show ever

 

State Theatre in Maine teasing a “legendary Californian punk band” announcement for Tuesday.

 

I think it's probably L7, saw them in the just announced section of a venue page.
