Only been there twice, it wasn't my favorite. It was alright. But there were lots of better places when I'd go spend time in San Diego. (My college roommate went to the same school Tom and his sister did.)

 

I wouldn't have it any other way.

Also, I used to live in San Diego. Sombreros is middle of the road

 

I mean, if you’re in SoCal, especially San Diego, there’s almost no reason to go to a chain place.

 

While this is true, I used to go to Taco Bell all the time when I lived there haha

Track 1 of this Good Tiger record and it really reminds me of The Titan Courageous. And that's not a bad thing at all.

 

Imagine how much Taco Bell you could get for $6/$9

They’ve fucking raised their prices so not much!! But maybe if I paid in two sexy installments like that I’d get a deal

 

Their regular menu has gotten real expensive, but their $1 menu is legit!

Good call @KidLightning & @skurt enjoying it. On track 3 now. Also I'm a sucker for artwork that has flowers on the cover for some reason which is why I've always loved the artwork for that Nightmare of You record.

I have literally never eaten there before and am just trolling you Mike. But I’ll take both your words for it

 

My only issue with it was that the tracks between the opener and closer were all fairly similar, but I probably just need more listens and time for them to differentiate themselves.

 

Did anyone else get some recent-TBS vibes from some of the tracks on the new Dashboard?

 

I felt there was good variety throughout personally. I think because his voice is so distinct you can sometimes get those comparisons.

Edit: I guess in the sense that Chris' and Adam's voices both sound kind of shot at times

 

It was moreso in some of the melodies and even some of the guitar parts. But I've only listened once.

 

Did we both listen to Tidal Wave? I feel like you missed it because his voice is better on that album

 

Yeah, because of where/how I was listening to it, the vocals were very prominent and he definitely has a distinct voice.

 

We Fight sounds like Move Along by All American Rejects, that's a compliment

 

Yeah if I didn't enjoy the vocalist so much I might find this a bit generic. But its got enough going on to keep me interested. It's on the softer spectrum of post-hardcore and I really don't mind that at all. I'll definitely be spinning this some more.

 

How/where were you listening to it? This album is definitely better through a good pair of headphones over speakers.
