Well, I don’t know your guys’ situation, but why do anything with an ex when there are so many wonderful people out there that you haven’t met yet? They’re an ex for a reason imo. I’m of the mind that unless you broke up because the timing was off and one of you had to move or something like that then it will never work. But that’s just my opinion, I suppose it can vary from situation to situation.

i never wanted to leave her. between her anxiety, 40 hours a week at the hospital, and being on an expedited track at school she never had time for me and eventually i needed to break it off. it was awful and bad and awful and we were both extremely upset and she hated me for it. it's probably a bad idea and statistically doomed to failure but idk
