Are you and I going to hype Good Tiger all weekend until people listen?

 

I'm pretty pumped to see Good Tiger on the Protest The Hero Fortress 10 Year Tour in May.

 

If we're judging books(records) by their covers, the new Harms Way album cover is fantastic

 

I enjoyed this too. I'm not sure why people are so hard on it.

I was worried because the entire thread is trashing it, I think it will help that I'm only casually into them

Yeah, I'm sure it will, for sure. A lot of people seem upset because they enjoyed the last one so much. So if you're just a causal fan, you're not pitting it against other records as much

I enjoy 7/9 songs on the new dashboard. Belong and heartbeat here just don't do it for me.

Edit: I am somewhere in between a casual and diehard fan.

Usually I don't do soundtracks unless it's all one artist who did a new soundtrack for it, why the hype behind this soundtrack?

I also get that it's been a long wait, I'm also generally way cooler with bands experimenting

 

kendrick lamar and TDE did the soundtrack, so it's a bunch of artists related there. kendrick is on like, over half the thing

palm is weird mathy psychedelic stuff, they're amazing

 

Is it new Kendrick stuff? I'm so in, if it is.

I'll give the other one a chance!

 

My only complaint with it being a long wait, is that it's only 9 songs and 30 minutes

 

As good as this week is imo next week is even more stacked.

i've heard a bunch of the new franz ferdinand songs on the radio and i truly can't stand any of them.

2000s big indie rock is a period of music i am glad i missed
