It's getting a little wild plus work wanted me to clean up a bit since I'm always talking to customers.

From what I've read they switched him to "injections" which, to me, would imply he's now taking a medication called Lovenox. I don't know if it necessarily considered an antidote but they do give a medication called Protamine for accidental Lovenox overdoses. I'm assuming they could also give it to someone who has been cut and is on Lovenox. Also, I'm fairly certain that if he were to stop his injections at least 24 hours before playing he'd be at a much lower risk for hemorrhage. Regardless, the severity of the bleeding would obviously depend on where he was cut and how deep of a laceration it caused.

 

However, getting cut isn't his only concern. He's also at risk for internal hemorrhages when taking hits and blocking shots.

 

I wonder how much his health situation will affect Stamkos in free agency. Can teams put some sort of clause in his contract?
