see i wouldn't go see a FC/WATT tour at all. if i knew they were doing that whole album i'd pretty easily pass.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

I wish Hellogoodbye would completely ignore everything before WIKY

I still enjoy FC/WATT. I would probably go to the WATT night, but I'd be way more excited for ACBTLD/CE/ND shows. Those albums are superior in every single way

  3. WATT was important enough to me when I was younger that I’d still go to see them play that one, but I’d take a full album show of any of the later records over that one easily.

Also, looking forward to seeing TWY again, whenever that gets announced.

So I wasn't sure where else to post this but this seems liked a good place.

Both Paul Simon and Andrew McMahon are playing here on my birthday this year. Who should I go see? Despite the fact that the Andrew McMahon show is sold out, the tickets on Stubhub will still probably be cheaper than the Paul Simon ones. I'm a bigger Andrew McMahon fan, but this is Paul Simon's last tour ever.

This is a seriously tough decision.

come to think of it, i think no devo is my favourite thursday album (that or full collapse), but there's not that much of a drop off for me between those and the rest of their work. none of their albums are any of my all time faves, so i'd probably go see them regardless.

for underoath, i think aaron's voice is one of my favourite things about them, so i never really got into disambiguation as hard as I did their classics. if their setlist mirrored their greatest hits album, that would easily put a ticket in my hand.

Hellogoodbye can play whatever they like because their discography is PERFECT.

Even in the context of when they put out that first record, they're still ahead of the curve in being aware of how fun and silly they are.

See normally yes that's what I'd go with no question, but I think I'm going to wait to see what range of songs Andrew is playing on this tour. Based on the description, I have a feeling it's going to be a lot of SoCo and JM songs.

i know when i interviewed forrest seven years ago he definitely wasn't thrilled about having to play all of the old stuff haha

  10. When I saw them in 2013 opening for Relient K, it was so obvious that they didn’t want to play “Here In Your Arms.” Everything else was great though.

I guess I kind of like the balance they've struck with old and new. There's not a song in their discography I'd be mad to hear, unlike some bands that are some of my favorites. Like, I love The Wonder years, but I never want to hear them play a GSOI song ever again.

Anyone have any ideas/rumors on a The Front Bottoms us tour this year? I missed them last time and i'm seeing talk of a tour in October.

Tiny Moving Parts will be in the UK all of April. TWY and TMP have toured together before, so I could easily see it happen again.

Wonder if one of the bands from the slaughter beach,dog/tigers jaw/worriers tour will be on this one, since that's overseas in april and a part of twy scene

Camp Cope is another band I'd love to be on that tour, especially since they said they'd be in the U.S. at least in June, but they're not technically touring in april but will still be, well, not in the U.S.
