I think it would fare better on Fox than say, NBC. But I feel like it would have more room to breath on FS1 or even FXX. I also worry that having Raw on Fox and Smackdown on FS1 will make Smackdown even more B-showy.

i think FS1 would make sense, because if its on network tv, i feel like there'd be more chances that raw gets pre-empted by something.

and yes, if the brands were on different networks, then at that point, smackdown would obvioulsy be an after thought

Sign me the fuck up for Raw for 2 hours. I honestly hope it happens. Why would FOX make it more safe and PG friendly? Some of the sitcoms and shows they air are far from that.

Yeah. I could maybe see them trying out say, Raw on FOX from 8-10 just for the Road to Wrestle Mania period. But Fox shows too many sporting events to actually clear 8-10 one day of a week all the time.

Hmm you really think so? This is the network that shows all the Seth Mcfarlane trash!

well fs1 is a different story

Fox proper, at least here, doesn't show any sports on Monday nights save for the MLB playoffs, so it wouldn't be a problem

Yeah, I don't know why people think the product would get way more kid friendly given the cartoons Fox airs frequently. If they can have Seth McFarlane's garbage, they can have the already-pretty-tame WWE on.

TV-PG is TV-PG no matter how you look at it. Most shows airing in the time slot are TV-14. If anything, Fox might be more willing to bump them back up. Ad revenue is going to be more lucrative on Fox and the WWE brand is only going to help.

WWE isn't going to go TV-14 (at least for Raw). I feel like even if the TV deal was the same, they'd still want to stay PG.

Yeah, I don't think there is a chance they flip back. Gearing the show toward children was the right move for the company and it should stay that way.

I think there is a chance they do a separate TV-14 show at some point I just don't see them changing their current stuff.

I don't care about what rating it is. You can book good fucking wrestling without anything vulgar or inappropriate. Look at New Japan. Such simple non offensive booking. WWE's main shows are such a clusterfuck right now and have very little consistency or logic. I can't fuckin watch it. I'll watch the PPV's but the regular TV is so bad.

    /cliche wrestling nerd rant over.

They have so much GREAT talent too, and it's still garbage. Ugh.

Hideo looked great on 205. Shame he lost but can't be mad at Roddy. I'm really hoping they lean more into heel territory for Hideo

or let Kenta go back to Japan

So we're getting extended run for Roddy on 205 Live (someone who does NOT need to be there), but someone like Tyler Bate who could benefit from a main roster run gets that first round elimination to TJP?

Damn, the Tyler Bate fall has been depressing as hell.

This is why having a taped 205 Live would be great. Im betting Tyler has bookings at least weekly between now and like 4 weeks from now. Why fly in a guy from the UK for a run when you've got someone sitting in Orlando ready to go?

Just read another article about how Meltzer said Lars Sullivan was scheduled to be Andrade's opponent at Takeover: New Orleans. What a mistake that would have been... I accidentally found out who the opponent is and I'm loving it way way better than any other option they could have gone with. What a save.
