ATST live for 90 minutes would be a nightmare after about 2 or maaaaaybe 3 times/

although, i'd rather sit through 90 minutes of ATST than 90 minutes of Down live.

What about 90 minutes of ‘Disaster’ live

 

90 minutes of any song would eventually drive my crazy. but i would still rather hear "Disaster" on repeat than "Down" in a live setting. that song just doesn't do anything for me live, for some reason. it's a waste of a set list slot to me.

 

Yup, if they want to play a slower song that's a single they can go with Always or After Midnight, which I think with Matt singing Tom's parts would be pretty great.

They really need to retire Down, Violence and Dumpweed from the set for awhile.

 

Matt reinvigorated Violence Live imo

 

Wearing cop paraphernalia basically demonstrates what side of an ongoing debate regarding the systemic racist violence perpetrated by the police. Now it isn't surprising to me that Skiba, being white and relatively affluent, has chosen the side that says most cops are good, ignoring the institution's history of violence. The identity and property of white people relies upon the heavy policing of black and brown people. To invoke and lean into that history and that reality is effectively a co-sign on the history of violence against those groups of people. You can say that it isn't, but, again, we have history and evidence to point to, as well as the words of the marginalized people that these institutions oppress on a daily basis.

 

I'm honestly bored of it, they've played it on every set since 2004. If they want to do a heavy sounding song switch it with Stockholm for a change.

I think Matt reinvigorated First Date. I was on the bandwagon to get that song removed from the set until I saw him play it live and on numerous bootlegs. He just brings so much energy with that song and the crowd really goes nuts when it's played.

 

I’d still take Violence over FD

 

They really need to do ‘An Evening With... blink-182’. Just three hours of blink. Maybe then they could play a couple of +44 too...

Mark would blow out his voice

 

I really wish Mark would embrace having something other to do and commit to besides Blink. If you ask me his best stuff doesn't even involve Blink.

 

Maybe they should play some more ‘Tom’ only songs then...

 

I think I’m ok with Mark sticking to blink (even when it’s mediocre)

 

Still better than that Amoeba song he did with Travis. That was just awful.
