Fairly certain Littlefinger going North will only cause chaos. But to take Winterfell, Jon and Sansa almost certainly need their numbers. Curious to see what the payoff for that potential alignment will be.

And yeah, the Lannisters and Tyrells reconvening is an interesting power move that sort of has been looked over so far.

Really loved the look into Margaery and Loras, too. We always knew she was strong, but to see her in action somewhat again was awesome.

Dany casually being allowed to leave to go piss and predictably stumbling into her two pals who snuck into this huge city of thousands of people was one of the worst things ever.

Yeah the Jon/Sansa reunion felt great. Wonder how Sansa will react once she finds out Jon was raised from the dead.

I really hope that next episode Jon starts exuding more confidence.

No way were they going to let Ramsay go down like that. I knew that she was dead as soon as she eyed that knife.

Also thinking no way Rickon survives.

Although awful, Jon reading that message from Ramsay did incite quite a bit of anticipation for their upcoming feud/showdown.

What are Little Finger's motivations for going to The Night's Watch? To capture Sansa back for Ramsay? Unsure where that storyline is heading.

Loved Tyrion's meeting. He has perhaps the best diplomatic/political mind in all of Westeros. There is no doubting his ability to lead men not only as an advisor, but on the battlefield as well.

Thought the position Theon took of backing his sister to rule the Iron Islands was smart. Not too many options left for that guy.

Danaerys pushing that last burning post down looked bad. Really fake. It just stood out for some reason.

Kind of laughed how Brienne let it be known that she was the one who killed Stannis.

Everything about the Danny stuff felt cheap to me.

Aside from that everything else is pretty great.

Tormund's probably been with more *interesting* girls. Brienne is nothing new for him I bet :crylaugh:

Because they would need weapons to kill one woman? Sacred place would cause some disbelief, but you'd think if they were assured of their demise they'd do something besides cower in fear.

Sansa is Cat's daughter, iirc, is his main motivation.

  10. I'm glad they didn't dwell anymore episodes on Dani being stuck there.

    1. Nice to see the shows version of the pink letter. Super excited for the North story going forward.

    2. Was that more cgi/superimposed/fake nudity? Didn't Emilia Clarke say she was done with the nude scenes?

    3. Thank god no Sand Snakes!

But he gave her to Ramsay? Maybe he didn't know who exactly Ramsay was?

I think Ramsay is/was a true surprise to everyone. Roose was awful, but worked in Petyr's world.

Yeah, the CGI wasn't great in that instance especially, but if it's all in the name of saving the CGI budget for another Hardhome-esque episode, I'm willing to look past it.

Got damn Jon and Sansa reuniting was the happiest thing that's happened to this show in like 5 years. I did not think any family members would ever see each other again.

Everything is mobilizing. Dany has the hordes, the Knights of the Vale are marching to war, Jon will muster the wildlings. Shit is going down.

There's that moment when they are walking along the battlements at Winterfell where Littlefinger tells Ramsay that he doesn't know much about him straight to his face. I think Ramsay was a bit of a mystery to a lot of the main players, probably because of his bastard status and the fact that this is a world where bastards traditionally are held in one place without the power to rise up.

Don't exaggerate. Jorah has been there before and knows where the khaleesi's are, so they were just waiting outside.

Okay point taken. The Jorah part is plausible. It still felt way too easy. I understand that they need to move the plot along though.

Certainly the best episode of the season so far. Episode checked all the boxes of both being satisfyingly entertaining and leaving me questioning what coming next. Really curious what Littlefingers angle is. Really curious to see just where the north stands (its still not clear which side the Umbers are actually on).

I'm enjoying the pace of the season in attempting to resolve the regional conflicts that comprise the stories of the various characters. Arya's story is the only one I am concerned about at this point. It will be interesting to see how King's Landing pivots from the current crisis towards the larger story as well. Hopefully, it will involve the end of the Dorne storyline.

Okay but can we talk about how George RR Martin said the casting was so good for Osha that he's giving her a bigger role and the producers said she's so significant that they have to change Asha's name and they still just kill her. Ramsay at this point is just boring. We know he's a dick. Killing someone every episode doesn't do anything.
