I feel like I want to agree, but idk how different Riot Fest really is. But I mean I guess they do have some rappers and pop leaning stuff that breaks it up a little bit.

Ok but I mean melodic post-hardcore underground math rock>prog rock. I think I've won this one.

    EDIT: Same.

  8. I get the feeling that Neck Deep might do a Fall headliner of like B-market dates given the success of this tour.

...welp, so long as another argument’s about to break out, I figure I might as well post this for posterity’s sake.

For the record, well aware that Jonny Craig is a skeez. I’d also like to think that we can all make (and respect) our own decisions around that.

That guy can not possibly still be making any significant amount of money from that shitty band

Saw them last fall and there were fewer than 80 people. Kind of astonished they’re doing two tours relatively close together, considering how much of a loss they must be operating at.

I wish people would get over the incidents that happened involving members of ND. They were genuinely nice people that I got to meet on Wednesday and I was pleasantly surprised. They are a big part of pop punk right now and the last thing the community needs is more negativity towards a band that actually wants to make a difference in their genre.

When the incident involved 3 members of the band sexually harassing an underaged girl, and only one member faced any repercussions, people aren’t going to just “get over it.”

When will people realize that, unless you know a band personally, it’s hard to actually judge someone’s character? Meeting someone for 30 seconds in a controlled environment is not the same as genuinely knowing if someone is a good person or a shit one, nor is it enough time to make that call.

Plus, I’ve actually personally seen their singer be a little bit creepy with a fan. She was my friend and she was 18, but they didn’t know her age

evan from pinegrove is one of the nicest people i've met. he's still an abuser and needs to not be in music.

niceness has nothing to do with abusive behavior

I can respect this response. I just personally feel that a LOT of hate ND gets comes from people who actually don't even care that what occurred was shitty, they just think it's the cool thing to do. My point was that in the environment I was in and after seeing the band multiple times live over the years, they have clearly grown up in a sense and I believe they realize the negative aura that they created with the allegations is something they want to move forward from.

then why won't they acknowledge what happened rather than scapegoating one member??

also you know me, you know that it's definitely what occurred that matters to me
