Wait till you get to the end of Great Wave. I love how there is so much going on but in such a low key way. Beautiful soundscapes. Loving it all.

 

I can see why Belongings has a star beside it on Apple Music. Beautiful song. So moving.

I agree logo was kind of wrong. So yes in that aspect I’m happy the logo is being changed.

The name, idk. That’s a huuuuge part of my childhood. That name carries weight in my soul.

 

I don't think much else has been happening in here since the beginning of time

 

not a fan of sunlight daze on first listen. might push the envelope harmonically for me a bit too much ha

 

I'm loving the vocalist reminds me of Blind Pilot if they were fronted by Andy. But theres some similarities with the Blind Pilot guy too.

I'm on great wave. that spoken word stuff in the last song was...interesting! this is a really cool band tho, they take a ton of chances.

I get that part of it. I've been a huge sports fan my whole life. still have boxes and boxes of baseball/football cards in my garage. I just feel like seeing that logo associated with that name makes the name feel like it's being used as an insult. So I would support changing the name of those teams I mentioned. like if the term Yankees were racially offensive I would support changing the name regardless of my personal attachment to them. I don't know, I'm happy they are getting rid of the logo (eventually) took too long, and they are still dragging it out, but it's a step. washington needs to be next for sure.


Edit: also have you seen how some of the fans have dressed up for the game in redface? it's just all over a bad idea to keep any of those logos/names I think.
