The beginning of this is the least amount of sense I've seen you make. I didn't restate your Rousey = AJ Styles comment. It's ludicrous. One was in the business for 10+ years and proved his worth, the other is just entering the business and is an unknown commodity. Will she draw? Yeah, she's a big name. Will she be great? Who knows. I hope she is. But it's far more likely that she's going to be closer to the Dana Brooke talent level than the AJ Styles talent level.

I understand why they're doing this, it just isn't an angle that pulls me in at all -- and I thoroughly enjoyed Rousey in UFC. Her as a person/character I could get behind. Her as a full-time wrestler getting a massive spot in Mania? Not so much. But, hopefully it'll be great and I'll look like a god damn idiot.

 

Also Joan Jett is a national treasure

 

Sort of astonished that we aren't all in agreement over Joan Jett being badass entrance music, but one thing we definitely can all agree on is that Asuka's entrance and casually flipping her mask off was lowkey greatness

 

can anyone guess who took Alicia Fox's spot? I couldn't figure it out.

Im betting Kairi Sane. 0 eliminations, only about 4 mins of action. Basicaly came in, hit her spots, got tossed by DANA BROOKE!

The other women vets seem like they would have been options anyway, and they put both NXT champions in rumble matches, so Ember being in made sense for that Asuka spot

 

i was thinking Kairi too although, it would make sense to include the MYC winner from the beginning no? But i couldnt think of who else. Some people say dana or lana but nah, i think they were included from the beginning.

Same goes for if Paige were in this. (kinda sad that Paige didnt even come out to be on the outside for absolution)

 

The RR matches were good, the rest of the event wasn’t. I wanted Sami and KO to win. That could have been fun for a few weeks.

 

Now I’m getting bummed that I’m 90% sure I’m not going to Mania this year

 

Iconic Duo in the rumble instead of Kelly Kelly and Torrie would have been great. They only hit like two moves each then were down for like the remaining 3 minutes of their time in the match

 

I feel like it was Dana Brooke. Seemed like they were setting up a storyline with her not being in it. Was there ever a graphic that had both Brooke and Fox in it?

 

Also, Sasha's heel moments made me really miss that character

i like Torrie Wilson being in it. Considering how much she did in professional wrestling for a decade and how little she's goign to be recognized going forward, i like getting her in the match.

Last night, the 8 year old sitting behind me was saying how excited he was for Enzo to come back. I tried to dance around it, but the kid was relentlessly annoying.

 

Curious if Rousey will be Raw or SD

 

She is too big of an attraction to get relegated to Smackdown.

 

Raw for sure unless she's gonna be working with Charlotte

 

if she's working with Steph it will be raw, if Charlotte it will be SD. I guess they could stick her on her raw anyway, or make her a "free agent" like Cena

 

Yeah, not that i'm saying it should interest people, but at least she isn't being catapulted to the top of the mountain like everyone thought she would. I think that's a huge deal.
