my mom's family has this like running joke where they say YAY at the end of each thought in a high pitched voice.

They've basically killed it even being remotely funny and now it's basically overkill.

I still have to deal with my mom's family using it for two more days. SIGH.

 

I'm an hour into a seven hour layover and I'm so bored. Anyone wanna chat?

Heading back to Seattle (home). I had to go to my hometown for a funeral, so I had to get whatever last minute flight I could since the nonstop was booked.

Should probably pull out my laptop and play around in logic while I'm stuck.

That's usually how funerals usually go, it's for the greiving and it's our job to support those who need it most.
Both-ish. I've got a recording commerical recording studio, working with a single multi track client so mostly engineer but sometimes have to wear the producer hat since it's his first album

 

This guy in my town is an irl Kirk from Gilmore Girls. He works everywhere and I feel like he knows too much. He works at my dentist and my bank and my grocery store. He probably has all the dirt on everyone. He srsly pops up everywhere!!

 

im home sick today.

 

this family left and they couldn't even bother to clean my room before they left smh.

Has anyone ever flown norwegian air? i have a long flight, and heard it's the 'south west of international flights' which sounds like complete hell.

I got sick over the weekend and I've been up since 3 am because my sickness wouldn't let me sleep and I hate everything.

It also doesn't help I was scheduled an early shift yesterday so my body feels like it's still recovering from that.

 

The hair issue on ER is getting more tragic as I go on. George Clooney had the most wonderful head of hair season one and this is just sad. And marks goatee smh why are those a thing

Also this baby they're fighting over isn't even cute.

 

Welp. Day three of being sick. Think I’ll try to go to work today for at least half a day tho. #spreadingthedisease

 

after being on the couch for 48 hours watching netflix, the short freeway commute on my tiny motorcycle felt like absolute heaven.

 

I'm still sick and I got a closing shift tonight. So much fun.

 

I was freaking out before work because I was like oh geez I hope I don't get anyone sick.

It turns out everyone at my work is sick and also a lot of customers were also.

I just wanted to tell people to stay away from the produce.

 

@Kiana I know you like Jane the Virgin. I'm breezing through it on Netflix and loving it but just wanted to post somewhere about the Grandma not speaking English but everybody speaks English to her

I was gonna post about this in the Tropes thread but I couldn't find it

 

I think she can speak it but doesn't as her preferred language? I noticed that with Krampus too. I think it's easier to understand a language than speak it comfortably. I know why they don't cause it may make it harder for viewers but it is noticable to me how little they switch between languages. I feel like all the bilingual spanish speakers I know are constantly switching between English and Spanish like in the same breath with other bilingual speakers lol. They're always like wow Kiana ur Spanish is getting better, u can keep up with our convo!! And I'm like... Half of it was in English lol and they don't even notice it's amazing and I'm so jealous!!

I knew I had seen it in other things but couldn't think what. It definitely bothered me a bit in Krampus. (Great movie though, and my brother and sister think it's awful and it irks me so much)

I'm right in the middle of season 2

 

My sister didn't like Krampus at first but by the next Xmas was demanding we watch it!

I haven't watched the current (last?) Season yet cause my isn't in it the same but jaime camil deserves all the Emmys ever
