The current plan for Ronda Rousey's WWE debut at WrestleMania looks to be a tag team match against Stephanie McMahon & Triple H.

 

In the end, the womens rumble couldnt have been more "this will play well on Total Divas" booking for the brunt of it. Brie got as many eliminations as Becky. Nikki tied Sasha/Nia for 2nd most. I just dont see Alexa disappearing from the storyline suddenly.

Mens Rumble was great because it opened up a half dozen potential story lines....Im hoping they'll pay them off, though odds are we're gonna get an awkward Sami/KO v Shane/Orton match or something.

So why did she need to appear at the end of the PPV and point at the WM sign? Isnt that tailor made for a RAW after PPV segment?

And im not any happier about Rock/Rousey v Steph/HHH taking up space on a card than I was about Rousey getting a title match. Especially if it means weekly 15min Steph/HHH promos.

Get to repeat WM33 where KO runs a many months long feud and it gets a less memorable spot than Cena proposing.

i just watched the womens rumble again with my brother... im sorry, that was a very very very fun showing. Such an awesome mixture of returns, current roster, fun interactions, and the right winner.

yes, the bellas in the final 3 is super eye rolling and on the same level of kane/bigshow a few years back, but other than that i think it was a home run. And the Rousey moment was the icing on the cake.

I think the show was a B+ (i watch rumble for the rumbles...the fact the other matches were awful doesnt hurt the overall grade as much as it would) and these were the best 'rumbles' in a long long long long time

 

Yeah both rumbles were good to great and the KO/Sami vs AJ match was also good - the other three matches were garbage

 

Cool? People are allowed to not like something even if it's good for WWE's fucking business metrics.

Gronk being involved in Mania was on ESPN too. Let's just do more of that, I guess.

 

I buy the rumor about rousey/Rock vs HHH/Steph because I think there’s no chance Rousey is gonna be on smackdown

I assume he was asking “why?” from a booking perspective. If she’s not involved with any of the women in the ring, what is the point of that closing segment? You honestly think he doesn’t know why she’s getting slingshotted to the top? That’s the whole point of this whole conversation.
