How is the poll website set up? Could we set it up where everyone who wanted to participate got to choose one song and then we vote on them?

 

I don't think there's a way to do that, at least not on the site that I usually use for the polls. I think if we can all (at least mostly) agree on 5 songs, then we can make a poll with the top 5 and then select the winner that way.

yeah theres a bunch of older bands ive considered recommending songs from but it seems the trend is staying away from those kinds of bands unfortunately

We could allow duplicates, but people would actually have to follow through and not drop out if we're to get every track.

 

and make sure it was an album where we could get a person for every song.

 

I think compilations are the way to go. They give more possibilities for involvement and have (obviously) yielded more participation.
