Any idea if the Carnifex tour will be announced this week or next?

 

not sure. I know april is in the timeline of the tour.

Since Nile is touring with Soulfly and Dying Fetus is touring with TAIM, I wonder who Morbid Angel are touring with, unless it's just them and locals again.

 

It's been a second since I've been on here and came back to a potential Dying Fetus/Thy Art tour.

According to their FB page, the Lawrence Arms are announcing a tour on January 30th...

Same. Mostly because it means there's a tour happening soon. Given the timing of the announcement (a Tuesday) I'm assuming there's some sort of statement about new music coming along with it...

That being said? I'm also wondering if there might be some sort of "hiatus" announcement coming along with it. I'm hoping not, simply because I'd prefer a world where the Lawrence Arms tour once every 3-4 years and do sporadic festival shows to a world where they're on a seemingly permanent break...

My only basis for that fear/thought is the first answer of "kinda" and the image of them being skulls, haha. Obviously I hope this is all completely wrong.

Yeah I can't imagine haha I hope its not a hiatus and I would love new music! They usually always come here when they tour so I hope that continues

 

Not to be a buzzkill, but I can just see the post now. "Are you guys breaking up? Kinda. Will you be doing a farewell tour? Soon. Will it be coming to my town? Depends on where you live." But they've been operating in a low-key manner for a few years now, so breaking up would be silly...

But for a band like them to do an announcement for an announcement it's got to be a big deal. So we'll see. I'm hoping it's just new music and a tour.

Regardless, I'm eager for next Tuesday! Hopefully some info leaks ahead of time.
