[Benchie is the name we gave the bench I sat on outside across from city hall almost every lunch break I took when the weather allowed it. They called me an old man and always asked how many pigeons I fed or if I played any chess while I was out there.]

Me: holy shit, almost forgot about Benchie. Now that I’m leaving, can I get a Dylan Gibson Memorial Bench plaque to put on there before I go?

Sheryl: you know Memorial plaques are for dead people right?

Christine: you have to die to be memorialized.
