I've been seeing hbd dadbolt posts for years.

 

Nothing in particular. I just want to be able to spend money without knowing I will be broke somewhere down the line

 

i think i have trypophobia and i never even knew i had it until a randomly stumbled upon it and now im freaked out i do not recommend you look it up because honestly its unsettling. honestly its not even a real "phobia" but its definitely fucked up and im not a fan.

Life just threw me a bone financial in the form of a $2500 check from my mortgage company that was unexpected and gratefully appreciated especially when I wasn't sure how I was gonna be able to afford everything we still need for new baby.

 

How's everybody else doing?

 

I have a friend that sends me Stuckman's reviews pretty often and I hate it so much. I never watch them. I've tried to gently dismiss them because he gets so damn defensive if i take a hard stance. I don't know where I'm going with this now. Just venting I guess. I really don't like his reviews lol

 

I would rather eat Colby's cake milk or American cheese pie than watch a video review, why are those a thing who likes video

 

Money wise? I just went into debt because a charity I donate to took $ out of my account ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Feel like you told me this in the last thread. Yeah, I get that. I wouldn't say I hate Stuckmann as much as you, but it's often pretty surface-level stuff. Makes me think most of his audience doesn't know that much about films at all. That, and he's way too overtly positive when it comes to the comic book shit (speaking as someone who REALLY can't wait for Black Panther in a few weeks). I don't trust him with anything nerdy

 

Agree 100% with all of your points except I don't really trust any of his reviews haha

 

There are some better - even GREAT - youtube critics out there. I like What The Flick a lot because they're way more experienced and you usually get a more in-depth discourse. And Double Toasted is solid too, they more often than not get me to rethink about whatever movie they just reviewed, even when they're just cracking jokes. I do need to dive more into RLM, but I haven't heard the best about some of their more recent vids

 

For whatever reason, I find myself liking and agreeing with some of the same stuff he does. I mean, we have the same top 2 movies of last year. Beyond that, he mostly seems like a decent enough guy (EDIT: other than a few things where he really lost some points with me) where you can be happy for him that he's making a good living doing something he's passionate about unlike Needle Drop or Cinemashits. Though it would be nice if, as arguably the biggest movie critic on youtube, he'd at least try to make more interesting points. Or just brush up a bit more on film

 

Also, he had Birdman as his best film of 2014 so maybe I shouldn't even minimally defend him

My day was a mixed bag but everything worked out okay at the end of the day so that's nice. Back to the grind tomorrow.
