Why is it that half the time a mainstream rock band comes to MN, they play some weird farming suburb thats hours away?

(Instead of the Twin Cities are cause, y'know, it's the only metropolitan area in the state)

 

do malort-a-ritas even make it out to the suburbs? i coulda sworn that was just some quirky logan square bs.

 

Holy shit, Boot & Saddle is a micro-sized Philly venue. Japandroids will melt that place down.

 

Has anyone seen Modest Mouse in the past three years that can attest if they're worth seeing? I've heard mixed things - when they coheadlined with Brand New I heard they were kind of weak from a few people.

 

When I saw them with BN they blew me away

 

Yea I saw them at Riot Fest and then with BN. Riot Fest left me unimpressed. I thought they were better with BN. I'm not a huge fan though, so I feel pretty indifferent about them and their show. If you really like them, I think you'd enjoy their show.

 

They were disappointing when I saw them but that was like 10 years ago in an arena setting

 

I saw them at Royal Oak in 2010 and the summer tour with BN and they were fantastic both times

 

So that Thy Art tour... what are the odds of Shadow of Intent being one of the openers? They're on the same festival as Dying Fetus/Thy Art

They said they had a lot more shows to be announced soon, so I wouldnt be surprised if a full US tour got upon us. Touring with Dying Fetus and Thy Art would make for good exposure.

Yup this seems like some bullshit that would tour with Atilla. Yikes.

 

Slayer is playing Cleveland on the first day of Bonnaroo. I'm bummed I'll miss their last tour, especially with LOG and Behemoth supporting (again)

 

Saw them at Firefly in 2015. They were solid.
