yeah not trying to excuse it by saying they were young or whatever, but they were obviously immature and I am confident in saying that Mark and Travis have matured. hell even Tomathy has.

NB is probably in their late 40s or early 50s now maybe? pretty sure they are just as shitty people as they were when they started, also they are rich now so probably worse.

 

Brokencyde is worse

 

I've never done a deep dive on Brokencyde's discography, so it's hard to say. NB's lyrics are very sexist, and offensive half the time though. He's also(in his lyrics at least) very insecure and violent and it's very uncomfortable to listen to.

 

I honestly haven't heard a Nickelback song since "Burn it to the Ground" was in NHL 10 and I was forced to listen to it hundreds of times.

In terms of lyrics, I'm not sure. But there are certainly bands that are all around worse.

I mean.. I think there are? haha

 

sounds like you need to listen to all of their albums to be sure. I'm sure Larry wont mind starting over for you.

that's awesome. I used to contact bands by myspace or facebook or email when I couldn't afford to buy tickets to their shows for me and my wife, they were almost always happy to help, and we always bought something from their merch table. most bands especially the openers make most of their money off merch anyway so they were happy to do that.

 

Let's put it this way, Nickelback is the worst band I've had the displeasure of listening to, to this extent

 

It's amazing how many times I've gotten into sold out shows by simply asking the artist. It never hurts to ask. Even if you have to work the merch table(which has happened a couple of times)
