I started the game AER: Memories of Old last night. Beautiful game with a cool artsy color style and the soundtrack is amazing as well.

Yes, it looks very sharp and runs great, and the indoor environments in one of the DLCs (Sign Of The Times, which is survival horror-ish) look incredible. They also enhanced it for Pro but they went a lot further with this version, plus it has HDR which the Pro version didn't. It's why I finally went back to play the DLCs.

I have a 1080p TV (without HDR of course) and it looks dramatically better than it did, so it's fine. They made it a lot sharper and redid the environments and the lighting and so on. It's obviously not on a AC Origins level, but they did a good job.

If you don't want to get all three DLCs (as in the season pass), get Sign Of The Times.

 

It’s crazy to think that games were adapted to account for colorblind gamers only since 2014. I also think it’s funny that it worked out for Gears of War by accident.

 

I'm not colorblind as far as I know but I turned on one of the colorblind modes in Witcher 3 to turn that guiding light from read to blue and it made it a lot more visible

I’m on the last palace of Persona 5, and I don’t want the game to end.

TEW 2 is soooooo much fun. I’m glad I explored a lot in the beginning because I was able to find a lot of upgrades/resources so the combat has been pretty fair. Even though I was NOT expecting a second encounter with the corpse/buzzsaw lady at one point.

The Fractured But Whole is also a great time. I’m glad the side quests are all so far pretty much tied into the main game. I’ve been fatigued by open world RPG’s this year so it’s nice just to worrry about one quest really. Also the combat is a lot of fun, and that was my main concern coming in. I was worried they would completely overhaul the combat from TSoT. They more refined it into an X-Com style game. My one huge gripe with the game is the excessive poop/fart jokes. Though I should have known that going in.

 

I think I'll finally play Persona 5 after I finish Yakuza Kiwami

 

Also I jumped back into Nier: Automata for a bit. Man I love that game, but I had to take a break for my backlog.

 

Wow is it just me or is the new COD bad? Does it get better? Also these graphics look so bad when it’s not a cutscene.

 

I thought the graphics were fine, but cutscenes were definitely far better.

I don't think it was bad either, just another COD game.

I've had the most fun with this COD multiplayer than I have had in a COD game in ages

 

I heard the war mode is a ton of fun

 

Is the war mode like that Battlefield mode they introduced in "1"?
