I hate that the last day for a full refund is the day before classes start. It'd be nice to at least look at a syllabus before committing to all five classes. I'm just gonna play it safe, assume all these classes are going to require a lot of writing, and stick to only four.

 

I am not at all excited for school to start tomorrow. I ended up taking biological sciences with lab because there was like zero other options and I needed a particular science with lab. Anyway I just was like fuck it I just have to get this out of the way and already the professor is emailing about how fucking strict he is and I'm just like greaaaat

 

This is my first semester with only four classes and feeling weird about it tbh!! First day is tomorrow

I have one class left and after that I'm gonna drink and smoke until class tomorrow. When can school be over

 

almost all my classes are in the evening this semester. that's cool because i can sleep in, but i can't imagine i'll be able to get into a productive routine. one of my five classes is an online course so i've really gotta exercise some self-discipline or i am kill

 

I already want to shoot myself. My biology class suuuuucks and my social media marketing class mentioned prereqs in the syllabus that I don't have so I'm like wait wut. I have to go talk to advisors tomorrow and see if I really can graduate after this semester or not. I'm so stressed out about it, it's crazy. Also today I realized I technically will be not full time so I will probably receive less financial aid than I expected. Financial aid is how I pay my rent so I'm kinda screwed lol!!!!

 

Is add/drop over for you? Is it too late to pile on a bullshit elective and get that financial aid?

 

the drop date isn't until friday but I thought that the add date was before the semester started. I may be able to pull off some shit (signing up for a second session express class maybe?? or convincing the dean to let me join a class late) to be able to graduate. I think it's possible but it's just a lot of stress and I hope that's not the case
In the end I might add on an elective for the financial aid factor but I have found it difficult to locate "bullshit" ones. I struggled to fill out my regular elective requirements lol but desperate times...

 

ugh so I did have to add an elective. I was just 1 credit short and I could have taken the computer class but I still would have been 1 credit shy of Full Time. So I just added an elective (an online express class) and will take the opt-out test for the computer class.

 

It's been seven and a half years since I began college, but I'll finally be graduating in a few months. Never give up!

I start classes tomorrow. 8am every day of the week, not sure how I'm gonna do that. I'm so used to sleeping until 11am every day for the past month lol

It's cold in college, James. It's cold and dark and I think somehow my debt has evolved to have teeth. It is nipping at my heels. Save yrself

 

I only took 5 when it wasn't my major/minor classes involved. As a bio major CS minor, most classes were 4/5 credits each, made it pretty impossible to take more than 4.

Well, week one is finished. Only 15 more weeks to go! (that's including spring break, so it's really only 14)

 

My home life is such garbage right now that going to school is honestly providing me with solace. I'm feeling optimistic about this semester.

 

Taking a class at my local community college next month in music foundations. Got the book today so I decided to take a look at random pages inside of it and it looks like a foreign new language. Nervous/Scared as hell.
